People don't understand the attraction of being a goof. If you're the type, you know what I'm talking about--do some silly thing in public, and mostly you get blank stares. If you're not the type, then read this anyway--it'll give you the chance to tell me I need a life.
In my neighborhood, they built a Starbucks, but it took forever. Construction took about 8 or 9 months in 1999, and it didn't actually open until late January 2000. In October 99, the work was still struggling along.
