Okay, back to the future
I wanted to align A1 pics left to have something different, but I guess I shouldn’t do it just for that reason. The centering just works best for me; here’s my current version. That navigation I want, I’ll do it somehow on the right, maybe with some div popup thing.
Anyone using IE7? I’m not sure if the layout will work properly there; if something goes wrong, the picture will be a little lower than the left and right columns.

Ooo! Like it.

It’s nice, but the submit button doesn’t seem to work for me. (OSX 10.4.8, Firefox 2.something.)

It looks identical in Firefox 2.0.0.3 and IE7 under Windows Vista, from what I can see.

Yeah, the submit button “doesn’t work” because it’s “not doing anything yet”, but thanks.
Dunno, I had another idea for a side-by-side thing, I might not go with this either.
Thanks for checking on IE7.

That submit button and I have a lot in common, at least on Friday afternoons.

It bothers me that the edge of the content is so close to the left edge of the browser window. Just a personal preference, but I like having a margin. (Then again, I have this problem with Lore’s articles on Wired.)

Oh, OK, then it’s not working perfectly as expected.

The old one had a funky, indie feel to it - like it was “something you shouldn’t be doing on company time”. I loved how regaled in it’s on simplicity.
This one feels more like SpinnWebe(tm) Corporate Drone(reg) (c)2007 Patents Applied for. But after waiting years I guess it’s really the CAPTIONS that count and the wrapper is just window dressing. Whatever, as long as it comes back I’m happy.
