    It’s a programmer phrase. Best I can figure, it means making the syntax of code nicer. Bet there’s a geek dictionary with it, let’s see…

    Oh. Or, Wikipedia: Syntactic sugar is a term coined by Peter J. Landin for additions to the syntax of a computer language that do not affect its functionality but make it “sweeter” for humans to use.

    ergh. It’s just such a clunky phrase, though. I hateses it.

    Ahh. You should make something up that’s just as geeky, like “Bandwidthy goodness”.

    Programmer poison sounds like it’d be better for some of these term-coiners to absorb into their system.

    Yeah, the phrase is pretty silly, but list comprehensions still rock.
