Imagine working with this guy

I am right and the entire Industry is wrong - The Daily WTF

Wonder how much turnover they had from people being fired due to fights in the cafeteria.

You know, I don’t care about the HTML issue. I just want to cockpunch him for referring to himself in the third person.

I invest far too much time evaluating myself against the rest of the industry, to help keep pace with the various technologies and trends out there, and to ensure I am doing things in at least an industry standard way.

But this guy’s technique saves so much effort. I wouldn’t have to keep up with all that crap if I just waved it away as ‘I’m better than the rest of the industry’.

I get a sort of Ignatius J. Reilly feel about this guy. Only he doesn’t sound outraged enough.

On a different note, can you believe they’ve repeatedly tried making that book into a movie? I, for one, cannot see how it would be nothing short of an abortion if they did.

Will Ferrell in the lead… Jesus fucking Christ. I mean, just… fuck, ya know?

I think I’d cast Jack Black instead.

I can’t really think of an actor that could summon the sort of image I have of that character.

I’ve seen character actors who do this kind of role, but I don’t think any of them had the *look*… fat, dressed eccentrically (rather than dressed well)…

Jack Black has the look, mostly, but I don’t know if he could summon the acting necessary for this role. The absolutely-convinced outrage, rolling his r’s with his highly considered pronouncements, the completely convinced nature of his superiority in the midst of flim-flamming someone… I just don’t think he can pull that off.

Will Ferrell, however, is a much worse choice. Gads.
