Scribs stats milestones
I like to look at Scribs’ ratings on Alexa occasionally, and I see that the site is in the top 2 million sites on the planet. And in the last week, it’s in the top 1 million. Nevermind that Alexa says that any rankings under 100,000 are unreliable…I’m clawing my way up to statistical relevance!
Also, in Top Online Comics (voting link to the right), I’m currently #6, which is kinda cool, but mostly because barely anyone’s using it and it’s mainly on the strength of my home-Starbucks-work voting, but what the hey.
Also!
Number of Ryan Norths who said he liked my Scribs ads: one! I saw some bugs in Project Wonderful’s new code, which I sent along to the support address, and he replied with some questions about the bugs and some compliments for my ads: “Thanks for your clever ads – I really like them, and they make the network fun!” I’ve been geeking out over that for the last hour or so.
Hm, reminds me that I gotta get that Jack Pendley page back up, actually.

I’m just here because I have to say that your webcomic ad is the best ad in existance EVER. (This one –> http://www.projectwonderful.com/img/uploads/pics/41095-1262673457.gif )
Seriously.
It could only be better if it had a photorealistic painted chick with huge breasts on it that are completely and utterly misleading to the content of your comic. It is the single most brilliant webcomic ad I have ever encountered and I salute you. The sheer dripping satire of the other ads your ad will be displayed alongside is BRILLIANCE, sheer BRILLIANCE.
I mean, the other ads on your links page are brilliant too, but man. You are a genius. Sheer brilliance. (Well, obviously, if Ryan North likes them too. ;) )
I guess I should actually read your comic now. But I really wanted to leave a comment here just to say that your ad really made my night. Cheered me right up to see such great satire packed into such a small package.

Hah! Thanks. Yeah I thought about making a straight-up boobs ad, actually. But I realized, how could I possibly make it parody?

To chime in: Love, love, love that ad.
